Newspaper Wood

The brilliant concept behind Mieke Meijer‘s project at the Design Academy Eindhoven was to re-create wood using the paper as a source to make wood, instead of using wood to make paper!
Together with the Dutch designlabel Vij5, he launched NewspaperWood in Milan at Salone del Mobile 2011, inviting some designers to create products using the NewspaperWood materials.
